Sedona Engagement Photos on West Fork Trail

It is always the sweetest compliment when I get referred to by past couples that I have got to work with! Partnering with Lauryn and Jeremiah to capture their Sedona engagement photos on the West Fork Trail was such a dream! It truly could not have been a more perfect day!

Meet Lauryn + Jeremiah!

Lauryn and Jeremiah crossed paths thanks to their mutual friends, and guess what? They were marking their three-year milestone – the same year Jeremiah popped the question! Jeremiah’s the outgoing one, while Lauryn’s a bit more on the quiet side. Seeing them both totally unwind and have a blast by the end of the photoshoot is always a highlight!

West Fork Trail : Lauryn + Jeremiah’s Sedona Engagement Photos

The West Fork Trail is incredibly popular among hikers in the Coconino National Forest. West Fork Trail is just 9.5 miles up from Sedona, Arizona. It winds through Oak Creek Canyon, which is located at the base of a towering 1,000-foot gorge! The trail continues to follow the path of the creek through Sedona.

When choosing a trail for your engagement photos, I always recommend bringing water, comfy shoes to hike in and shoes to change into when we reach the destination! The West Fork Trail has a few creek crossings, so unless you don’t mind getting your feet/shoes wet, there is an option to hike along the creeks. Also, because of how popular this trail is, it is always best to get to the trail early to find parking and to avoid the crowds!

Jeremiah being from Flagstaff, capturing their Sedona engagement photos at the West Fork Trail was the perfect location to capture Lauryn and Jeremiah’s vision. The West Fork Trail is the best of both worlds! The trail has a lot of greenery, some red rock and also a little river with a huge bridge that goes over it! Because of how much traffic there was, we only spent about 20 minutes at West Fork Trail. Lauryn and Jeremiah really wanted a majority of their photos wandering around the red rocks in Baby Bell!

Baby Bell Trail to Arizona’s Red Rocks

Baby Bell is hands down one of my favorite sunset hikes! It’s not a super hard trail and only takes about 20 minutes to get to the top! So, this trail was the perfect setting to capture those gorgeous Arizona red rocks that Lauryn and Jeremiah wanted!
