Elegant Apache Junction Wedding

I SERIOUSLY CAN’T GET ENOUGH OF CRISTINA AND RICKY’S INCREDIBLE, ELEGANT APACHE JUNCTION WEDDING DAY.

I cannot even begin to describe how much FUN I had alongside Cristina and Ricky during their Elegant Apache Junction Wedding last December. Every single detail of their romantic, moody and elegant day blew me away. I was lucky enough to capture Cristina and Ricky’s engagement photos! I have been obsessed with the love between these two ever since. Cristina and Ricky have that sort of best friend love, that leaves you smiling from ear to ear. During their engagements, I took every opportunity to pick Cristina and Ricky’s brain. I got to hear all about what they envisioned for their dream day. Let me tell you… these two went above and beyond bringing their extraordinary vision to life, and left every single person absolutely blown away by the details.

THEIR WEDDING

Their vision was absolutely stunning. Cristina and Ricky chose The Paseo in Apache Junction as their venue, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect location for them. It is carefully placed at the foot of the majestic Superstition Mountains, which is one of my favorite spots in all of Arizona. Surrounded by picturesque native Sonoran Desert, The Paseo is a romantic, completely unique, private outdoor venue and had their names written all over it! Their decor was romantic and elegant, with hints of moody mauve, black, and cream tones.

Their ceremony space left my jaw on the floor. Cristina and Ricky tied the knot under blue skies, right in the center of the Superstition Mountains. Their ceremony space was gorgeous, and the florals left me speechless. I couldn’t get enough of their romantic floral arch! These two shared an incredibly sweet and wholesome ceremony with their friends and family, and I really don’t think there was a dry eye. They shared the sweetest first kiss as newlyweds, locked hands, and ran down the aisle together. I chased behind them as we ventured into the deseret, and these two lovers soaked up that just married feelin’. I had so much fun taking in the epic views, and capturing these two in such an unforgettable moment.

THE RECEPTION (THE BIGGEST PARTY EVER!)

Their reception did not disappoint! It felt like every corner was packed with incredible floral details. Cristina and Ricky’s sweetheart table was up against the most epic balloon arch i’ve seen in my entire life! The chandeliers across the ceiling created a beautiful, golden light. Let me tell you.. this group knew EXACTLY how to party. We sang at the top of our lungs, ordered endless drinks, and danced the night away without a care in the world. Seriously, the biggest party I have ever seen!

Every single person was getting down on the dance floor, and the energy was insane. The room was electric, and I had so much fun celebrating such a special couple. One of my favorite moments of the evening was when Cristina and Ricky snuck away for a private last dance. The truth is, sometimes your wedding can fly by in what feels like seconds. It’s so easy to get caught up in all the details, and I love when couples take the opportunity to slow down, and focus on each other. It was such a sweet and tender moment, that I seriously recommend for all couples!
