Adventurous Arizona Engagement Photos at Canyon Lake

I love shooting at Canyon Lake SO much! Not only is it totally accessible but the views!! There are so many different turnoffs and locations there to get such a good variety of backdrops. If you’re looking for both epic mountain views AND lake views, Canyon Lake in Arizona is an amazing option for your engagement photos. Being an Arizona wedding photographer allows me to explore and find some sick locations for my couples and this one is still a favorite!

Canyon Lake’s Diverse Beauty

It was a perfect March day for Lauren and Brad’s engagement photos at the picturesque Canyon Lake in Arizona. Just 45 minutes outside of Phoenix this is a desert oasis with stunning mountain views and a gorgeous lake. The overcast sky gave such beautiful contrast with the mountains and the sunset was to die for! We all met up at Goldfield ghost town and then we took the road up to Canyon Lake to get some epic mountain views and also some photos with the water in the background! I will say the road is extremely windy so be prepared if you get car sick easily.

Working with Lauren and Brad was amazing! They are so adventurous and in love and the day flowed so beautifully.
