Choosing Poco Diablo Resort was an absolute jackpot! The venue brought out the enchanting, fairy garden, and renaissance vibes Abby and Erik envisioned for their wedding. Erik, a die-hard Lord of the Rings fan, couldn’t help but draw inspiration from the Shire during their initial tour.

In addition, the playful combination of light blue, dusty rose, and pops of orange in their floral arrangements perfectly mirrored the vibrant energy of Abby and Erik. As a matter of fact, their energy was radiating throughout the entire night. 

Unconventional Wedding Party with Abby’s Best Friends

Getting ready for the big day was a breeze as they were both on-site at the hotel. Almost everyone attending the wedding also had the luxury of staying there. In a break from tradition, Abby chose not to have a conventional wedding party; instead, she invited all her close friends to share the excitement as she got ready! All things considered, the emotional first look she had with all the important ladies on her wedding day is a moment I will forever remember from this day!

The sight of the red rocks gently peeking through the flower arch behind Abby and Erik was undeniably breathtaking. To enhance the intimacy of the ceremony, the couple purposefully arranged the seats in a semicircle. Because of this seating arrangement, this created a sensation similar to stepping into the Shire. The combination of lush greenery and sunlight dancing off the red rocks created a truly awe-inspiring atmosphere during the ceremony!
