Katherine + Joshua’s Love Story

Back in their teenage days, Josh and Katherine’s paths crossed, setting the stage for a beautiful journey. As time passed, their bond deepened, and a few years ago, they took the leap into a romantic relationship. Now, their love story is reaching new heights as they prepare to exchange vows and embark on the incredible journey of marriage. Adventure is their middle name – they’re all about exploring new horizons, fueled by their undeniable love for Chick-fil-A (who can resist, really?). Working with this couple was an absolute blast! Even though it was freezing and the wind was putting on quite the show, they didn’t let it dampen their spirits. In fact, they turned it into a laughter-filled experience, fully embracing the windy escapade. They couldn’t stop laughing at the gusts of wind, and their positive attitude was simply infectious. After all, who can control the weather, right? It was so chilly that our fingers turned into icicles, and we had to take a mid-shoot break to warm up in the car – talk about an adventure! It was a day of joy, candid moments, and a testament to their ability to make the best out of any situation.

We traveled to AZ because we knew we wanted to do our engagement shoot out of the state. Many photographers that we saw didn’t capture much of the essence, color-wise, that we were looking for. We knew we didn’t want light and airy photos since AZ has beautiful hues of brown and rusty orange.

When we came across Kali’s page, we fell in LOVE. It was SO hard to choose a place to shoot at. Kali was so communicative and knew exactly which places to go to. She knew the area like the back of her hand and was able to deliver everything we wanted AND MORE! The day of our shoot it was a bit chilly and windy. She stayed the entire time, was never shy of asking us how we were doing, and was very professional. I’m happy to say that at the end, we not only walked out with an engagement session but also a friend! Her and her husband were some of the sweetest people ever.

My fiancé and I look at our engagement photos at least twice a day. It’s our lock screen, iPad screen, and on our Instagram. They’re just pictures that capture us and our love for each other. I’m glad Kali did everything in her power to make that happen!” – Katherine
