Backyard Wedding in Sacramento California

Jordan & Brandon

Jordan and Brandon got married in Jordan’s parents back yard in Sacramento California surrounded by all of the beautiful pine trees.

 When Kayla called me one night and asked if I wanted to fly in and second shoot Jordan and Brandon’s wedding with her I about screamed and booked my plane ticket right then and there. I am so excited to finally getting around to blog this day because it was one of my favorites.

 On their wedding day it was predicted to rain ALL DAY we were all keeping our fingers crossed and thankfully it had the most beautiful overcast and perfect weather. Jordan and Brandon started their morning by reading letters that they wrote to one another. Jordan made It clear she wanted to read the letter before her makeup was done because she knew she would shed some happy tears. Once they were done reading their letters to one another, they got all ready for their first look.

 They chose the most perfect location only a short walk down the road. As soon as they saw each other they could not stop smiling and giggling like little school children because today was finally the day they got to say, “I do”. After running around in the forest together for a bit, it was time for their ceremony. I was so excited because I got to stand on the balcony and get the most perfect perspective of Jordan walking down the aisle in her long veil.

Can we also just take a moment to obsess over their décor!! It was like a Pinterest dream at their sweetheart table.  After everyone was done eating all of the delicious food, it was party time!! We all could not stop laughing because during the garter toss, Brandon handcuffed Jordan to the chair and gave her a little lap dance and she was totally not expecting it! Her face was priceless.

 They ended their night with the most magical sparkler exit where Brandon swept Jordan off of her feet and ran down the tunnel, then busted out some dance moves.

 This wedding was so amazing and thank you so much to Kayla for letting me second shoot it with you!
