Kiersten + Brandon are two of the sweetest humans I have ever met. Kiersten found me on Instagram and fell in love with my work. We had a phone call later that day and before we knew it, we were talking like best friends. She told me her whole story with Brandon and just by the tone of her voice and her extremely large smile, I could tell how happy and in love she was. Honestly, nothing makes me happier! They decided to book me for their engagement session in Arizona and also their first look in Utah. I was so bummed when I was already booked on their wedding day!

We woke up at the crack of dawn and I was in awe of this beautiful place. This was my first time in Utah and when they mentioned they wanted their first look at Silver Lake I was 100% down! It was beyond freezing at sunset but none of us cared. We were so excited and the anticipation was building. When Brandon finally saw Kiersten for the first time in her wedding gown. The BIGGEST smile came across his face. It brought tears to my eyes.

I would highly recommend going to this location during sunrise because there were only about 10 people in the entire park. It was so peaceful and relaxing, not having a huge audience starring at all of us. As soon as the sun popped up and our session was finished, people started piling in!

So thankful that I was able to capture the sweetest first look for these two. I also cannot wait to come back to Utah because this session made me fall in love with this state.
