Fall Halloween Wedding Venue | The Icehouse

The choice of The Icehouse as their wedding venue couldn’t have been a better match for their whole aesthetic. This historic venue, once an ice factory, exudes an industrial, edgy vibe that was a perfect match for the Halloween theme. The exposed brick walls and high ceilings added an eerie yet elegant touch to the atmosphere. The open roof of the ceremony space is so unique, it really is a blank canvas for whatever vision. This venue is so stunning and I would absolutely love to shoot here again!

Spooky But Romantic Halloween Wedding Decor

D + C, the sweetest couple, incorporated many spooky elements into their wedding day, all in the name of their shared love for Halloween. The black and burnt orange color theme, the pumpkins and skulls, the nighttime ceremony, the moody but boho florals all blended together so seamlessly for a romantic but spooky Halloween-inspired wedding day in Arizona.

How They Met

Desirae and Chris’s story began with a potentially sketchy Craigslist roommate ad. Then led to a secret roommate romance that started after a party at the neighbors. As the months passed, Chris sweetly asked her to be his girlfriend.Eight years later, on her very first pumpkin patch adventure (something she’d been wanting to do for years), Chris proposed, solidifying the next chapter in their one-of-a-kind love story.

“I stumbled upon Kali’s Instagram page a while ago. I remember thinking to myself, “When it’s my turn to get married, I want her as my photographer!” Her style was edgy, beautiful and I felt the love in all her photos. I felt connected to her art even before meeting her. So….my time came! I got engaged! The first vendor I reached out to (even before landing on a date) was Kali. Kali really went above and beyond! She and Tyler are forever bonded to us and I am eternally grateful to them both!”
