I am obsessed with this Joshua Tree Elopement!

Every single time I look back on these photos from Xanath and Matt’s bohemian golden hour elopement, I literally have to pick my jaw up off the floor. Joshua Tree has always been one of my favorite spots to shoot in! As an Arizona native, there is nothing I love more than desert magic. Joshua Tree is always such a dreamy escape from Arizona Deserts. I will literally take ANY opportunity to hop on a flight down. I had so much fun working alongside Xanath and Matt, and bringing this golden, bohemian vision to life!

Why I loved this shoot:

Xanath looked incredible in this romantic, strappy, romantic lace gown from Grace Style & Bridal that I was completely obsessed with. X + M were so perfect for this shoot, and they were absolute naturals in front of my camera. They brought such genuine, electric chemistry that really came to life during our shoot. The weather was perfect, and we got to watch an incredible sunset together! Every single detail I had imagined in my head fell perfectly into place, and honestly turned out better than I could have ever imagined.

As sunset crept up on us, Xanath and Matt blew me away during blue hour. The pale blue sky mixed with vibrant shades of pink and purple, and I couldn’t get enough. Blue hour is most definitely one of my favorite parts of the day to shoot during. I love how it gives all the colors an opportunity to really pop in such a unique way, grabbing your attention and keeping it there. Also, we definitely have to take a second to talk about Xanthan’s bouquet. The dried, neutral florals seriously came straight out of my boho, desert dreams!

We laughed, we danced, and we took in the beauty of Joshua Tree all night long. I genuinely couldn’t have asked for a more amazing couple to spend the evening with! I am without a doubt, DYING to get back into Joshua Tree, and I can’t wait to create more and more magic there!
