Jessica + Richard met working at a summer day camp for a local park. When they met they were both coming out of pretty serious relationships, so neither of them had the intention of dating. Jessica said she was pretty apprehensive about the whole thing. But she eventually gave him a chance and slowly one date became two, until he asked her to be his girlfriend three months later at a super nice restaurant, definitely out of her comfort zone she said. Then she remembers quite vividly that he told her that morning, that he was taking her out that night at 7, and she needed to be dressed in something formal. And that night he popped the question!

Jessica reached out to me when she saw that I was going to Oregon for a trip and she asked if she could have their engagement photos done there…UM HECK YES was my answer!! I have been dying to photograph a couple in front of a waterfall and I knew this was the perfect time. We all had such a blast running around and getting totally soaked in the waterfall and the rain. These two were such troppers because it was FREEZING and we went at sunrise! You honestly couldn’t even tell they were cold because they had the biggest smiles on their face the entire time.

I cannot WAIT to see these two again for their wedding in 2020!!
