• Rooftop Terrace: Starting at $3000, this venue space is perfect for hosting outdoor weddings with a max capacity of 95. (50 is max for seated guests). This venue is mostly covered by a shade structure.
• Garden Amphitheater: Hosts up to 30 guests, a great option for an elopement. This venue space does not allow glass or alcohol!

When is the best time to get married at Betty Ford Alpine Gardens?

For the best weather, I suggest planning your wedding for spring or summer, ideally from June to early September. Avoiding the winter months is a good idea because May and October can get pretty chilly, and there’s even a chance of snow.

Also, make sure to secure your date early, especially if you’re eyeing those popular dates in the summer. June to August is when everyone’s saying “I do,” thanks to the warm weather and the gardens bursting with blooms. 

Pro Tip: The venue doesn’t have much lighting, so events typically wrap up by 9pm. It’s important to plan to have everything cleaned up and cleared out by then.

Betty Ford Alpine Gardens offers amenities such as parking, restrooms, and venue supplies. However, you’ll need to arrange for additional services like catering, rentals, and decorations. Here is a quick overview of what you need to know!

Parking: 5-minute walk from the Ford Park parking lot and a 10-minute walk from the Vail Village parking structure, though fees may apply at Ford Park during concerts or sporting events; alternatively, you can reach visit via the free in-town bus service (Golden Peak or Ford Park bus stop), or your hotel may offer shuttle services. 

ADA parking is available at the Ford Park Parking Lot and across from the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater.

Venue Supplies: The venue can provide up to 100 foldable chairs, 9 foldable tables, 6 hightop cocktail tables, and trans cans with trash bags. All other supplies and decorations must be provided by additional approved vendors. The venue has a vendor list that couples are encouraged to request when completing the rental application. 

Event Coordination: An experienced day-of coordinator is mandatory for all events except elopements. Couples and their coordinator have the freedom to customize the wedding celebration and handle logistics independently, The wedding coordinator is expected to be the main point of contact as the Gardens does not offer staff for event coordination.
